3PE coated pipes are composed of fusion bonded epoxy powder (FBE) bottom layer, middle layer binder and polyethylene (PE) outer layer. The epoxy powder coating has excellent adhesion to metal and anti-cathodic stripping performance as well as excellent chemical corrosion resistance and oxygen permeability resistance. The polyethylene coating has excellent impact resistance and water permeability resistance.
