GAS CYLINDER STEEL PIPE PRODUCTION PROCESS

The production process of gas cylinder steel pipes mainly includes the following steps:
Raw material preparation: The main raw material of gas cylinder steel pipe is steel plate or steel ingot.
Rolling: Use a rolling mill to roll steel plates or steel ingots into the required tube blanks, with different specifications and sizes to meet the production of different diameter and length requirements. During the rolling process, equipment such as periodic pipe rolling machines, automatic pipe rolling machines or continuous pipe rolling machines may be used.
Perforation: Use a perforation machine to perforate the rolled tube blank into seamless steel pipes. There are many perforation methods, such as extrusion perforation, cross-rolling perforation, etc.
Heat treatment: The produced seamless steel pipe is heat treated to improve its hardness and corrosion resistance. Common heat treatment equipment includes continuous annealing furnaces, intermittent annealing furnaces, etc.
Testing: Various tests are carried out on the produced seamless steel pipes to ensure that their quality and performance meet the requirements. Common testing equipment includes ultrasonic flaw detectors, eddy current flaw detectors, hydraulic testing machines, etc.
Straightening: Straightening the produced seamless steel pipes to eliminate bending and distortion and ensure the straightness and geometric accuracy of the steel pipes. A straightening machine is the equipment that accomplishes this step.
Packaging: Pack the finished steel pipe to protect the surface of the steel pipe from damage and rust. Common packaging equipment includes automatic strapping machines, automatic winding machines, etc.
