Pipes ordered according to this standard should be suitable for bending, curling (hot flow rolling and closing) and similar forming processes, as well as fusion welding.
A335 boiler pipes can be hot-worked or cold-drawn, and are subjected to hydrostatic test and non-destructive testing before leaving the factory. If the customer has special requirements, hydrostatic test can be omitted.
