The capital letter "P" stands for pressure use; "255" indicates a minimum yield strength of 255MPa; "Q" indicates that the heat treatment is quenching and tempering; and "L" indicates that it is used for low temperature use.
The production process of P255QL alloy steel pipes supplied by GNEE includes hot rolling, cold drawing, hot expansion and other processes to obtain the required size and shape. Generally, P255QL steel pipes should be quenched and tempered. The quenching temperature (hardening temperature) should be 890°C to 930°C, while the tempering temperature ranges from 600°C to 680°C.
EN 10216-4 P255QL steel pipes usually have an outer diameter range of 10.2mm to 711mm and a wall thickness range of 1.6mm to 60mm. Specific size specifications can be customized according to user needs.
