38Mn6 non-alloyed mechanical tubes meet the requirements of the European standard EN10297-1, with excellent mechanical properties and machinability.
Physical Properties
Density: about 7.85g/cm³.
Melting point: about 1411℃.
Thermal conductivity: approx. 43W/(m-K).
Coefficient of thermal expansion: approx. 12.2×10^-6/°C.
Mechanical Properties
Tensile strength: usually between 550-650 MPa.
Yield strength: between 360-380MPa.
Elongation: between 20% and 25%.
