Casing is a large-diameter pipe that serves to secure the wall or borehole of an oil and gas well. Casing production: First, both ends of the plain pipe are corrugated. The corrugation is then tested and, if necessary, re-processed to ensure accurate connection with the coupling. Before the casing is painted and packaged, it is surface treated to enhance strength and undergoes various tests (including diameter inspection and water pressure test). The steel grade of H40 casing refers to the yield strength of the material, such as H40 means the strength is 40*1000/145MPa=275.86MPa.
