What is ASTM A403 WP316L Elbow?
ASTM A403 gr WP316L material has lower carbon content. In addition to 18% chromium and 8% nickel, the material composition of 316L pipe fittings also contains 4% molybdenum, making it corrosion resistant to chloride ion stress cracking.
The fittings range in diameters from ½ inches to 48 inches in nominal bore sizes. The A403 WP316L Elbow is one of the most used fittings in the piping industry. The elbow is useful in changing the direction of the pipes with less pressure impacts on the pipe walls.
