EN 10219 S355J2H Structural Rectangular Tube is a kind of non-alloyed fine-grained steel hot-forming rectangular hollow section according to European standard EN 10219, made from low-alloy high-strength structural steel S355J2H, which is specifically used in the fields of construction, bridges, machinery, and other load-bearing structures. This product is particularly suited for load-bearing structures such as buildings, bridges, and machinery.
Requirements for the implementation of the standard (EN 10219)
Size and shape:
Rectangular tube section height, width tolerance of ± 1.5%, diagonal deviation ≤ 1.5%.
Straightness ≤ 0.2% of the length of the tube, bending ≤ 0.15% of the length of the tube.
Process performance:
Need to pass Charpy impact test to verify the low temperature toughness, and to meet the ultrasonic testing or eddy current testing of non-destructive testing requirements.
