Plastic-coated steel pipe, also known as plastic-coated pipe, steel-plastic composite pipe, plastic-coated composite steel pipe, is a steel-plastic composite steel pipe with a layer of plastic anti-corrosion layer welded on the inner and outer surfaces of the steel pipe through spraying, rolling, dipping, suction and other processes.
Plastic-coated pipes have excellent corrosion resistance and relatively small friction resistance. There are two main types of plastic-coated steel pipes: one is hot-dip plasticizing with modified polyethylene (PE); the other is internal and external coating with epoxy resin (EP).
