DIN 17175 12CrMo195 is a low alloy steel pipe widely used in high temperature environments. Its chemical composition includes carbon, manganese, silicon, phosphorus, sulfur, chromium and molybdenum, of which carbon (C): 0.08-0.15%,Manganese (Mn): 0.40-0.65% ,Silicon (Si): 0.10-0.35% ,Phosphorus (P): Max 0.025% ,Sulfur (S): Max 0.020% ,Chromium (Cr): 0.90-1.20% ,Molybdenum (Mo): 0.15- 0.25% ,This material has excellent mechanical properties. After appropriate heat treatment, its tensile strength, yield strength, elongation and hardness can meet the requirements of high temperature applications. Tensile strength: 410-530 MPa Yield strength: minimum 255 MPa Elongation: minimum 21% Hardness: ≤197HB.
In high temperature applications, DIN 17175 12CrMo195 seamless alloy pipe is mainly used to transport steam, superheated steam and other high temperature fluids in facilities such as power plants, boilers and petrochemical plants. This type of pipe has good welding properties, but in order to ensure welding quality, correct welding procedures must be followed. At the same time, as needed, preheating and post-weld heat treatment may be required to avoid the occurrence of cold cracks. In addition to the basic black or oiled finish, this pipe can also have other finishes or coatings depending on the customer's needs. During the production process, all pipes must undergo rigorous testing and inspection to ensure their quality and reliability. These tests include dimensional inspection, visual inspection, mechanical testing and non-destructive testing.
