ASTM A106M Seamless Carbon Steel Nominal Tubes for High Temperature is an American Society for Testing and Materials standard equivalent to ASME SA-106 standard, which belongs to sedimented steel and is classified into Grade A, B, and C according to the different chemical compositions. According to the amount of C content can correspond to GB/T699 high quality carbon structural steel 25 steel, 30 steel, 35 steel.
ASTM A106M carbon steel pipe with C content of 0.25~0.35%, belongs to the medium carbon steel, welding performance with the increase of C content and change, when the C content > 0.22%, the welding performance is poor, prone to produce Ì hardening tendency, weld joints are easy to brittle fracture.
