DIN 2609 WStE355 steel pipe is a German standard (DIN) corrosion-resistant steel, mainly used to manufacture structures and equipment in marine environments. It is a medium-carbon low-alloy steel (C content 0.12%-0.20%), containing a small amount of alloying elements, mainly phosphorus (P) and sulfur (S) to improve its corrosion resistance.
DIN 2609 WStE355 round steel pipe has a tensile strength range of 170-240N/mm² and a yield strength of 140-180N/mm². Due to its excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance, DIN 2609 Gr WStE 355 Cold Drawn Tube is widely used in marine engineering, chemical equipment, storage tanks and pipelines.
