S235JR Hot Finish CHS Tubes Description
S235JR Hot Rolled Tube is a European standard unalloyed structural steel tube with a yield strength of 225 MPa, a tensile strength between 360 and 510 MPa and an elongation of not less than 18 per cent. This type of structural tube is commonly used in welded, bolted and riveted structures for parts and welded structural components that are subject to general stresses, such as building architecture, bridges, vehicles, ships and industrial machinery.
S235JR steel tubes are hot rolled to provide good workability and moderate strength for a wide range of application scenarios. The delivery state of this material can be either hot rolled (+AR) or normalised (+N), with the exact heat treatment being determined by the specific application requirements of the material.
