A192 Seamless Carbon Steel Boiler Tubes for High-Pressure Service Description

A192 high-pressure boiler tubes are seamless carbon steel tubes specifically designed for high-pressure boiler systems. They conform to ASTM A192/ASME SA192 standards and are suitable for operating pressures ≤9.8MPa and temperatures 450-650°C. They are primarily used in key components such as boiler heating surface piping, superheaters, and economizers.

A192 seamless tubes can be manufactured using either hot or cold working processes. Hot-worked tubes require no heat treatment, while cold-worked tubes require heat treatment at 1200°F (650°C) or higher after final cold working to eliminate internal stresses generated during cold working, improve the tube's microstructure and mechanical properties, and enhance its toughness and fatigue resistance.
