Galvanized steel Schedule 40 pipe refers to galvanized steel pipe produced in accordance with the Schedule 40 specifications of the American Standards Institute (ANSI).
This pipe follows ANSI/ASME B36.10M and ANSI/ASME B36.19M standards in production and manufacturing. Schedule 40 represents the wall thickness series of British pipes. For example, for an 8" SCH40 steel pipe, its outer diameter is 219.1mm and its wall thickness is 8.18mm; for a 12" SCH40 steel pipe, its outer diameter is 323.8mm and its wall thickness is 10.31mm. ; For the 14" SCH40 steel pipe, the outer diameter is 355.6mm and the wall thickness is 11.13mm.
