St35.8 boiler steel tubes belong to the carbon structural steel category of the German DIN standard. Their chemical composition features a carbon content controlled between 0.17% and 0.24%, a silicon content between 0.10% and 0.35%, and a manganese content between 0.40% and 0.80%, while strictly controlling the content of harmful elements such as sulfur and phosphorus. This scientific composition ratio gives the material excellent plastic deformation capacity and weldability.

Applications

St35.8 seamless steel pipes, due to their high-temperature and high-pressure resistance, are mainly used in the following scenarios:

Firstly, in the boiler manufacturing industry, they are used to manufacture key components such as superheater tubes, reheater tubes, and steam pipes for various steam boilers;

Secondly, in the petrochemical industry, they are used to transport high-temperature and high-pressure oil and gas media;

Thirdly, in the power industry, they are used in the heating surface piping systems of power plant boilers.

In addition, they are widely used in machinery manufacturing, the automotive industry, and other fields. Especially in the construction of supercritical unit boilers, St35.8 seamless steel pipes are an irreplaceable material because they maintain good performance even at temperatures up to 570°C.
