API stipulates that there are three lengths: R-1 is 4.88~7.62m, R-2 is 7.62~10.36m, and R-3 is 10.36m or longer.

Oil layer oil casing mainly guides oil and natural gas from the subsurface storage layer to protect the drilling well and stratify the drilling mud. When oil casing is produced, the outer diameter is usually 114.3 mm to 508 mm.
