Recently, GNEE successfully completed the delivery of a batch of ASTM A106 GR B seamless steel pipes, which will be used in important energy infrastructure construction projects in northeastern Thailand.
This batch of seamless steel pipes will play a key role in the Northeastern Thailand Finished Oil Pipeline Project. As an important energy strategic project in Thailand, the project is 342 kilometers long, passes through 5 provinces, and ends in Khon Kaen Province. The annual oil transportation capacity reaches 6 million tons, which will greatly improve the supply of finished oil in northeastern Thailand.
During this inspection, Thai customers focused on the key characteristics of steel pipes, such as high temperature resistance, high strength, corrosion resistance, and easy processing. After a series of rigorous inspections and tests, including chemical composition analysis, spectral analysis, mechanical properties test, torsion test, bending test, impact test, and radiographic flaw detection, the project requirements were fully met, ensuring the safety and stability of the pipeline project.
