What is 316L ASTM?
Steel grade 1.4404 (also known as ASTM 316/ 316L and ≈ SS2348) is an easily machined stainless "acid-resistant" steel.
316L is a stainless steel material grade, AISI 316L is the corresponding American grade, and sus 316L is the corresponding Japanese grade. my country's unified digital code is S31603, the standard grade is 022Cr17Ni12Mo2 (new standard), and the old grade is 00Cr17Ni14Mo2, which means it mainly contains Cr, Ni, and Mo, and the numbers indicate the approximate percentage. The national standard is GB/T 20878-2007 (current version).
316L stainless steel seamless pipe is a round, square, or rectangular steel material with a hollow section and no seams around it. 316L stainless steel seamless pipes are made from steel ingots or solid tube blanks that are perforated into capillary tubes, and then hot rolled, cold rolled or cold drawn. Stainless steel seamless pipes have hollow sections and are widely used as pipes for conveying fluids.
