ASTM A335 P17 steel pipe is a seamless alloy steel pipe that belongs to the alloy pipe series under the ASTM A335 standard. It is mainly used in boiler and heat exchanger systems under high temperature and high pressure conditions.
The main alloying elements of ASTM A335 P17 alloy steel pipe include chromium (Cr) and molybdenum (Mo). The chromium content is about 16-18% and the molybdenum content is about 1.5-2%, which makes the alloy have excellent oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance.
ASTM A335 P17 seamless steel pipe has good mechanical properties in high temperature environment and can withstand high temperature and high pressure conditions while maintaining good strength and creep resistance.
