ASTM A312 TP316 stainless steel pipe is an austenitic stainless steel grade, 316 grade pipe is a standard molybdenum bearing grade, second only to 304 in austenitic stainless steel. The chromium, nickel and molybdenum content makes the stainless steel 316 seamless pipe stronger, corrosion-resistant and ductile. The manufacturing process can be ERW, EFW, seamless and welding types. There are SS 316 welded pipes and seamless pipes. There are round, square, rectangular and hydraulic pipe types.
