Stainless Steel 304H 304 Pipes

Stainless Steel 304H 304 Pipes

304H stainless steel is a higher carbon version of stainless steel that is obtained by heat treating the standard 304 stainless steel alloy. By adding a higher proportion of carbon elements, 304H stainless steel pipes improve their high-temperature corrosion resistance and heat resistance, making them suitable for use in high-temperature environments.

Description

SUS 304H Pipes

Stainless Steel 304H Pipes have a higher carbon content than 304 stainless steel. The carbon content of 304H stainless steel generally ranges from 0.04-0.10%, while the carbon content of 304 stainless steel pipes is usually below 0.08%. This gives Stainless Steel TP 304H Pipes higher resistance to high temperature creep.
Due to the difference in carbon content, the service temperature range of TP 304H Stainless Steel Pipes is higher than that of 304 stainless steel. The recommended service temperature of 304 stainless steel pipe is usually -196°C to 800°C, while the service temperature range of 304H stainless steel can reach approximately 1150°C.
Application fields: Due to its high temperature performance advantages, A213 SS TP 304H Pipes are more commonly used in applications in high temperature environments, such as petroleum refining, chemical industry, heat exchanger and other industries. ASTM A213 304H seamless tubes are more commonly used in general environment applications, such as food processing, building decoration, pharmaceuticals and other fields.

Stainless steel pipes and copper pipes
Stainless steel is 2.5 times stronger than copper and performs better in stress and strain tests. Stainless steel is approximately three times stronger than copper and can withstand high temperatures and pressure without any problems.
Copper is a ductile metal that makes it easier to bend and cut, but is not suitable for high-pressure applications or high temperatures.
The strength and rigidity of stainless steel make it ideal for long-term installations. Generally, stainless steel requires less support than copper. Since stainless steel pipe has thinner walls than copper pipe, it may be easier to install.
