What material is the A335 P5 steel pipe made of?
A335/SA335 P5 is a seamless ferritic alloy steel pipe for high temperature applications. These pipelines are versatile and can be used to transport water, oil and natural gas. The key ingredients of chromium-molybdenum alloy P5 pipes are added chromium and molybdenum.
Hardness Test Notes: The hardness of A335 P5 boiler tubes must not exceed 250 HB/265 HV [25HRC].
