ASTM A213 standard is for seamless steel pipes used in ferritic and austenitic boiler superheaters and heat exchangers.
ASTM A213 T11 seamless pipe is SA 213 grade low ferritic carbon steel. The composition of SA 213 T11 boiler tube is 1-1.50% chromium, 0.44-0.65% molybdenum and 0.30-0.60% manganese. Apart from this, it also contains small amounts of silicon, carbon, potassium and sulfur.
ASTM A335 standard is for ferritic and alloy seamless steel pipes used in high temperature services
ASTM A335 P11 seamless pipe is made of carbon steel pipe with a minimum tensile strength of 415MPa and a minimum yield strength of 205MPa.
SA335 P11 grade high pressure seamless boiler tube is suitable for superheater tubes, steam lines and headers and similar applications up to about 560℃.
