What is ASTM A790 steel pipe?
ASTM A790 UNS S32750 (Duplex 2507) is a super duplex stainless steel containing 25% chromium, 4% molybdenum and 7% nickel, it is available in seamless and welded ferritic/austenitic stainless steel pipes.
2205 duplex stainless steel pipe has excellent mechanical properties, corrosion resistance, and good weldability. It is widely used in the oil and gas industry, marine engineering, chemical industry and other industries. The oil and gas industry uses heat-resistant 2205 duplex stainless steel pipes to lay more than 850km of oil and gas pipelines.
Most of them are 2205 duplex stainless steel seamless steel pipes (some are S31803 duplex stainless steel pipes and 2507 duplex stainless steel pipes); in the West-East Gas Transmission Project, due to the highly corrosive nature of the natural gas medium, 2205 stainless steel pipes are used for high-pressure pipelines.
