JIS 3444 STK290 Carbon Steel Structural Pipe is a Japanese standard structural carbon steel pipe for civil engineering and building structures. It is suitable for structural carbon steel pipes such as tower scaffolding, foot piles, foundation steel piles, and anti-landslide steel piles.

JIS G3444 STK290 Carbon Steel Anti-landslide Piles have an outer diameter less than 318.5mm.
JIS 3444 STK290 Carbon Steel Structural Pipe Manufacturing method
The manufacturing method shall be as follows:
a) Tubes shall be manufactured by combination of the tube manufacturing method and the finishing method shown in table 1. If necessary, appropriate heat treatment may be applied to the tube.
b) Tubes may be made using coated steel sheet or coated steel strip,if so requested by the purchaser.
c) Bevel end finishing may be applied under the purchaser's specification,in which case the shape shall be based on the agreement between the manufacturer and the purchaser. However,if there is no specification of shape,it shall be in accordance with figure1.
