JIS G3444 is a Japanese industrial standard for carbon steel pipes for general structural use. Steel pipes of this standard are widely used in construction, bridges, machinery manufacturing, ships, vehicles and other structural engineering.
JIS G3444 carbon pipe standard specifies the size, chemical composition and mechanical properties of structural steel pipes. Common steel grades are STK290, STK400, STK490, STK500 and STK540.
