What material is STKM 11A steel pipe?
JIS G 3445 Grade STKM 11A Mechanical Pipe is a low cost low carbon steel pipe with up to 012% carbon and up to 060% manganese content that is easy to form and shape. These pipes are manufactured as per JIS specifications and are called cs pipes or ms pipes.
STKM 11A alloy pipe chemical composition content: C (carbon) 0.12%, Si (silicon) 0.35%, Mn (manganese) 0.60%, P (phosphorus) 0.04%, S (sulfur) 0.04%.
Mechanical properties: tensile strength is 290N/mm²1.
Application fields: Since JIS G3445 STKM 11A mechanical pipe has medium strength, good weldability and ductility, it is suitable for a variety of mechanical applications, such as bridges, buildings, vehicles, ships, etc. At the same time, it can also be used in low-pressure fluid transportation pipelines and general structural pipelines.
