34CrMo4 carbon structural steel pipe has high durability strength and creep strength at high temperatures, good low-temperature impact toughness, good hardenability, no overheating tendency, small quenching deformation, acceptable plasticity during cold edge shaping, and medium processability. The weldability is poor and requires preheating before welding, post-weld heat treatment and stress relief. It is generally used after quenching and tempering treatment. It can also be used after high and medium frequency surface quenching or quenching and low and medium temperature tempering.
Used as important structural parts working under high loads, such as transmission parts of vehicles and engines; rotors, main shafts, heavy-load transmission shafts of turbine generators, large-section parts. 34CrMo4 seamless steel pipes are used to make parts such as those used for locomotive traction. Large gears, supercharger transmission gears, rear axles, extremely loaded connecting rods and spring clips, 34CrMo4 alloy steel pipes can also be used for oil deep well drill pipe joints and fishing tools below 2000m.
