19Mn5 alloy steel pipe is mainly used to manufacture pipes for heat accumulators. It is also suitable for manufacturing steel plates for large boiler drums and pressure vessels and other structural parts, as well as boiler steel pipes with wall temperatures ≤ 520℃. In addition, it can also be used to manufacture steam boilers, pipelines, pressure vessels and instruments with temperatures up to 600℃.
The heat treatment of 19Mn5 seamless steel pipe includes normalizing and quenching and tempering. The normalizing temperature is generally between 880-910℃, while the quenching and tempering may include steps such as quenching and tempering.
