JIS G4105 SCM440 seamless pipe is a chromium alloy structural steel containing 0.9-1.2% Cr, and is commonly used to manufacture gears, pump shafts and tool holders. This steel has high strength and good comprehensive mechanical properties, and is suitable for high temperature working environments. The maximum operating temperature can reach 427℃. Its heat treatment specifications are 880℃ oil quenching, 650～680℃ tempering, air cooling, and the metallographic structure is tempered martensite. The advantages of JIS G4105 SCM440 seamless alloy steel pipe include good processability, impact absorption performance, and easy welding. This steel is widely used in the production of high-strength fasteners, such as engines and molds.
