P110 oil casing is a steel grade used in oil drilling, a crucial piece of equipment primarily employed to support the wellbore of oil and gas wells, ensuring normal drilling and well operation. P110 oil casing comes in various specifications, such as an outer diameter of 89mm and a wall thickness of 12mm, or an outer diameter of 244.48mm and a wall thickness of 11.05mm. Common lengths are 6-13 meters or 10 meters. Manufactured using a hot-rolling process, connections include threaded (round thread, trapezoidal thread) and welding. It features high tensile strength and corrosion resistance, and is used for supporting wellbore walls in oilfield drilling.
What is the difference between c110 and P110?
API 5ct grade c110 pipes are suitable for deeper acid condensate wells. They are used for high current applications. P110 material is a higher grade material among all steel grades and can be used in complex high-stress environments.
P110 is a high-grade seamless steel pipe for petroleum applications under the API 5CT standard, belonging to low-alloy high-strength steel. Its core advantages are:
- High strength load-bearing capacity: Yield strength reaches 758-965MPa, tensile strength ≥862MPa, suitable for ultra-deep wells and high-pressure oil and gas reservoirs;
- Corrosion resistance: Through optimized chemical composition (such as the ratio of chromium and molybdenum), it can resist the erosion of corrosive media such as H₂S;
- Process compatibility: Supports cold drawing, hot rolling, and heat treatment processes to meet different engineering needs.
