10# high pressure steel pipe Description
10# High Pressure Pipe is made according to standard GB/T 6479, it is a kind of high quality carbon steel pipe, used for chemical high pressure equipment.
In terms of chemical composition, the carbon (C) content of 10# steel pipe is in the range of 0.07-0.14%, silicon (Si) is in the range of 0.17-0.37%, manganese (Mn) is in the range of 0.35-0.65%, and the content of sulphur (S) and phosphorus (P) are strictly controlled at a low level. In addition, its metallographic organisation is mainly ferrite and pearlite.
In terms of mechanical properties, 10# steel pipe has a tensile strength σb of not less than 410 MPa, a yield strength σs of not less than 205 MPa, an elongation δ5 of not less than 25%, and a section shrinkage ψ of not less than 5%. This material can be heat treated to improve the hardness and strength to meet the needs of different engineering fields.
