GB/T 6479 Seamless Steel Pipe Description
GB/T 6479 High Pressure Pipe is a kind of seamless steel pipe specially used for fertiliser equipment and high pressure pipeline with the following features:
Applicable temperature: the working temperature range is from -40 to 400°C, suitable for use under extreme conditions.
Working Pressure: The maximum pressure it can withstand is 10 to 30MPa, suitable for chemical equipment and pipelines under high pressure environment.
Material selection: Commonly used materials include 20#, 16Mn, 15CrMo, 12CrMo, 12Cr2Mo, etc. These materials are selected to ensure the strength and durability of the pipes.
Manufacturing process: including hot rolling (extrusion, expansion) or cold drawing (rolling) methods to ensure the quality and performance of the pipe.
Delivery status: usually delivered in heat treatment status, the specific heat treatment system should be specified in the quality certificate.
