ASTM A139/A139M is a standard specification for electric fusion (arc) welded steel pipe (NPS 4 and above). This standard covers five grades of electric fusion (arc) welded straight or spiral seam steel pipe for conveying liquids, gases, or steam. The nominal wall thickness of this series of steel pipe is generally 1.0 inches (25.4 mm) and below.
