DIN 17175 seamless steel pipe is a pipe material designed for high temperature environments, also known as heat-strength pipe.
DIN 17175 steel pipes are available in a variety of specifications and grades, such as St35.8, St45.8, 15Mo3, etc. The outer diameter of these steel pipes usually ranges from 4.0 to 76.0 mm, the wall thickness ranges from 0.5 to 8.0 mm, and the length can reach up to 6000 mm.
St35.8 and St45.8 steel pipes are usually used to manufacture superheaters, reheaters, economizers, air preheaters for low-pressure and medium-pressure boilers, as well as pipes and containers in chemical processes.
Alloy structural steel pipes such as 15Mo3, 13CrMo44 and 10CrMo910 are suitable for manufacturing pressure-bearing parts under high temperatures due to the addition of alloying elements such as chromium and molybdenum.
