10CrMo910 Alloy Steel Pipes Description

 

10CrMo910 alloy steel pipe is a German-branded 2.25Cr-1Mo pearlitic heat-resistant steel, corresponding to the domestic grade 12Cr2MoG (under GB 5310 standard). Its chemical composition includes carbon (C), silicon (Si), manganese (Mn), chromium (Cr), and molybdenum (Mo). The chromium element forms an oxide film to enhance corrosion resistance, while the molybdenum element improves creep resistance. After normalization and tempering heat treatment, its metallographic structure is bainite, with a tensile strength reaching 500-700 MPa, a yield strength exceeding 300 MPa, and an elongation greater than 20%. The steel pipe is manufactured using processes such as hot/cold rolling, hot extrusion, or cold drawing, and must undergo inspection procedures including ultrasonic flaw detection. The product surface needs to be kept clean and free of oxide layers, with specifications covering various sizes from 739 to 37712 mm. It is widely used in main steam pipelines for thermal and nuclear power generation, as well as in heated surface pipelines in the petrochemical industry, and can also be applied in hydraulic supports, high-pressure boilers, fertilizer equipment, and other fields.

Cold Drawing (Rolling) Seamless Steel Pipe: Round pipe billet → Heating → Piercing → Pointing → Annealing → Pickling → Oil coating (or copper plating) → Multi-pass cold drawing (cold rolling) → Blank pipe → Heat treatment → Straightening → Hydrostatic test (flaw detection) → Marking → Warehousing
