C45E steel pipe is a material in the European standard EN 10083-2. The equivalent of this steel pipe is German material number 1.1191, also known as CK45 steel, which belongs to the German standard DIN EN 10083-2.
EN 10083-2 C45E carbon steel pipe can be treated by surface carburizing and quenching to improve its surface hardness. This treatment method can enable C45E steel to obtain the required surface hardness. After quenching and tempering, C45E parts have good comprehensive mechanical properties and are particularly suitable for important structural parts such as connecting rods, bolts, gears and shafts that work under alternating loads.
