Tube training is carried out using fully sedated steel, as required by the specification, and all non-destructive testing must be carried out by personnel authorised by their employer and holding a Level 1, 2 or 3 qualification. The operator's qualifications must comply with the requirements of EN 10256 or its equivalent.
A Level 3 certificate according to EN 473 or other equivalent Level 3 certificate is recommended.
Employer authorisation of operations must be documented in a written procedure.
NDT operations should be authorised by an NDT Level 3 certified person approved by the employer.
