E75 drill pipe is a high-strength steel widely used in oil and gas drilling. The minimum yield strength of E75 steel pipe is 75,000 psi (approximately 517 MPa).
Like drill pipe in other API specifications, E75 Seamless Steel Pipe requires specified threads and connecting joints to ensure a reliable and tight connection. In terms of dimensions, drill pipe diameter, wall thickness and length must comply with API regulations to ensure compatibility with other drilling equipment. During the manufacturing process, drill pipe usually requires heat treatment, including quenching and tempering, to increase its hardness and strength.
