ASTM A335 is designed for seamless ferritic alloy steel pipe in high temperature environments. Commonly used in industries with high temperature and high pressure conditions such as power generation, petrochemicals, and refineries.
material ingredient:
A335 includes various grades of seamless alloy steel tubes. Common alloying elements include chromium, molybdenum, and sometimes vanadium. Popular grades include P5, P9, P11, P22, and P91.
Temperature Range: Suitable for high temperature service, typically ranging from -20°F to 1200°F (-29°C to 650°C), depending on specific grade. Each grade of A335 has specified mechanical properties, including tensile strength and yield strength, to ensure suitability for high temperature applications.
Commonly used in power plants, petrochemical plants and refineries for applications such as steam pipes, boiler pipes and high temperature pipes.

ASTM A106 is a general specification for seamless carbon steel pipe for high temperature and pressure applications. It is widely used in various industries, including oil and gas, petrochemicals and power generation. A106 is made from carbon steel with specific chemical composition requirements, including carbon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, silicon and trace amounts of other elements. Suitable for high temperature use, the temperature range varies according to the specific grade. For example, Class B is suitable for a temperature range of -20°F to 650°F (-29°C to 343°C). Each grade specifies mechanical properties, with Grade B being the most commonly used. Grade B has minimum tensile strength and yield strength requirements.
application:
Commonly used in various industries, such as oil and gas transportation, high-pressure steam pipelines, boiler tubes, general high-temperature fluid and gas transportation, etc.
