2) Welded steel pipe, also called welded pipe, is a steel pipe made of steel plates or strips that are welded by curling. It can be divided into straight seam welded steel pipe and spiral seam welded steel pipe. The production process of welded steel pipes is simple, the production efficiency is high, there are many varieties and specifications, and the strength is generally lower than seamless steel pipes. Welded steel pipes above 800mm are welded from steel plates.
3) Characteristics of spiral pipes: The production process of straight seam welded pipes is simple, high production efficiency and low cost. The strength of spiral welded pipes is generally higher than that of straight seam welded pipes. It can produce narrow welded pipes from narrow billets and can also use the same width. Billets are produced from welded pipes of different diameters. However, compared with a straight pipe of the same length, the weld length is increased by 30% to 100%, and the production speed is low. Therefore, smaller diameter welded pipes mostly use straight seam welding, and large diameter welded pipes mostly use spiral welding.
4) Galvanized steel pipe is galvanized on the surface of the steel pipe. The inner and outer surfaces are galvanized for corrosion resistance. It can be seamless steel pipe or welded steel pipe. Both welded steel pipe and seamless steel pipe can be galvanized into galvanized pipe.
