ASME SA-213/ASTM A213 T11 grade seamless pipe, nominal composition 1.25Cr-0.5Mo-Si, is widely used in the structure of boilers, superheaters and heat exchangers.
ASTM A213 T11 seamless pipes are primarily used in the construction of boilers, superheaters and heat exchangers.
When working at high temperatures, steam decomposes into hydrogen and oxygen on the metal surface, which may cause steam oxidation of the steel to a greater extent than air oxidation at the same temperature.
The maximum service temperature of T11 grade pipe is 565°C [1050°F]. Alloy grade T11 steel pipe has high oxidation resistance, plasticity and thermal strength even at temperatures up to 580°C. It has good welding performance. It needs to be preheated to 300℃ before welding and stress relief treatment is required after welding. It has been widely used in high-pressure, ultra-high-pressure, subcritical power station boiler superheaters, headers and main steam pipes.
