After type testing, it was confirmed that it complies with TSGD7002-2006 "Type Testing Rules for Pressure Pipe Components"
At the orderer's request, the manufacturer shall remove two tubes from each batch of delivery tubes for analysis. The results of this analysis shall be reported to the purchaser or co-agent and shall comply with specified requirements. If an analytical result of a specified test does not meet the requirements specified in Section 7, additional tubes twice the number of original test tubes shall be taken from the same batch for analysis, and each analytical result shall comply with the specified requirements.
Heat treatment Hot forged steel pipes do not need to be heat treated. Cold drawn pipes should be heat treated at a temperature greater than or equal to 1200F (650 degrees) after the last cold drawing process. Cold drawn tubing should be treated at 1200F (650C) or higher and finally cold drawn and heated.
