JIS G3461 carbon steel pipes are mainly used in high temperature applications such as heat exchangers and boilers. There are different grades such as STB 340, 410 and 510. Carbon steel pipes have a tendency to transfer heat very quickly both inside and outside the pipe. These are therefore suitable for heat transfer applications. JIS G3461 carbon steel heat exchanger tubes have very high heat transfer efficiency. They also have high toughness, good ductility and good corrosion resistance.
