Production method: hot rolling, cold drawing, delivery status: heat treatment.
Requirements for mechanical testing and determination of grain size:
Tensile test: A tensile test should be conducted on a sample with a batch of less than 50 pipes. When the batch exceeds 50 pipes, a tensile test should be conducted on samples of two pipes.
Flattening test: A flattening test is conducted on the samples at both ends of a finished pipe in each batch, but not the one for the expansion test.
Expansion test: An expansion test is conducted on the samples at both ends of a finished pipe in each batch, but not the one for the flattening test.
Hardness test: Brinell or Rockwell hardness test is conducted on samples of two pipes in each batch.
Grain size: The grain size should be measured at one end of each batch of finished tubes to verify compliance with regulations.
