ASTM A312 is a pipe steel pipe material standard. It is mainly used to manufacture seamless and welded pipe steel pipes. Its scope of use covers petroleum, chemical, electric power, metallurgy and hydraulic pipe industries. Its main characteristics are that the pipe should have good compressive strength and good tensile strength, and have good corrosion resistance. Heat resistance and sealing are also one of the important indicators.
The ASTM A312 standard is divided into three levels: TP304L, TP316L and TP321L. TP304L is a nickel-chromium stainless steel with good corrosion resistance and heat resistance. The maximum temperature can reach 800°C, the minimum temperature can reach -320°C, and its compressive strength can reach 200 megabytes per square centimeter. Pa. TP316L is a nickel-molybdenum alloy steel with higher corrosion resistance. Its compressive strength can reach 220 MPa per square centimeter, the maximum temperature can reach 850°C, and the minimum temperature can reach -320°C. Finally, TP321L is a nickel-chromium-titanium alloy steel with the highest corrosion resistance. Its compressive strength can reach 230 MPa per square centimeter, the maximum temperature can reach 900°C, and the minimum temperature can reach -320° C.
The size of the ASTM A312 standard pipe is mainly customized according to the customer's requirements. The thickness of the pipe is also available in different choices, from 2.11mm to 50.8mm. The diameter of the pipe is from 1/8" to 4", while the inner diameter is determined by the customer's requirements. Ask to decide.
There are three surface treatments for ASTM A312 standard pipes: heat treatment, seamless, and electroforming. Heat treatment is to subject the pipe to heat treatment to make its surface smooth and have better corrosion resistance.
