Introduction of EN10297-1 38mn6 Seamless Pipes

38Mn6 steel pipe is a common alloy structural steel with excellent mechanical properties and processing properties.
The chemical composition of 38Mn6 Cold Drawn Seamless Pipes includes carbon (C), silicon (Si), manganese (Mn), phosphorus (P), sulfur (S) and other elements. Among them, carbon is its most important alloying element, usually containing between 0.36% and 0.43%. The manganese content is mainly between 1.40%-1.70%.
38Mn6 Hot Drawn Seamless Pipes have excellent physical properties. Its density is about 7.85g/cm3, its melting point is about 1411℃, its thermal conductivity is about 43W/(m·K), and its thermal expansion coefficient is about 12.2×10-6/℃. These physical properties make 38Mn6 have good stability and durability in harsh environments such as high temperature and high pressure.

 

38mn6 Structural Steel Pipe Applications
The tensile strength of 38Mn6 Carbon Steel Seamless Hollow pipe is usually between 550-650MPa, the yield strength is between 360-380MPa, and the elongation is between 20%-25%. These excellent mechanical properties make 38Mn6 widely used in the manufacturing of automotive parts, mechanical equipment and other fields.
