Description

L555QO seamless steel pipe belongs to the high-grade pipeline steel in the API 5L standard. Its minimum yield strength reaches 555MPa, which is a better balance of strength and toughness than the traditional X80 steel grade (yield strength 551MPa). Through microalloying design and controlled rolling and cooling process (TMCP), a fine-grained bainitic structure is formed inside the steel, enabling the product to maintain a Charpy impact energy of over 27J even at a low temperature of -46℃.
