The standard of ASTM A500 ERW welded pipe covers cold-welded seamless carbon steel round pipes, square pipes, rectangular pipes or special shape structural pipes. These pipes have an outer diameter of 88 inches (2235 mm) and below, and a wall thickness of 0.875 inches (22 mm) and below. Grade D products require heat treatment.
ASTM A500 Grade A ERW pipes can be subjected to different surface treatments, such as bare, oiled, color coated or other special coatings, to meet different anti-corrosion and aesthetic needs.
